The Relish In Spice Co. is an award winning company, based in the outskirts of Arundel in West Sussex, producing a high quality range of handmade condiments, ketchups, and sauces all year round.

With a passion for food and a solid culinary background of 25 years, Michelin Star Trained Chef Mark Strachan decided to set up Relish In Spice in March 2007 to produce a range of high standard products known for its quality rather than quantity and made with the best and as many local ingredients possible.

We use our own recipes which are based on extensive research and testing of traditional and modern approaches to cookery and preserving. All our products are handmade and contain no artificial flavours, colourings, or preservatives. Most products are gluten free and all are fully traceable. We pride ourselves on sourcing as many ingredients as possible locally and according to the season and a commitment to quality. All of our products are made to order in small batches to produce products of real character, quality and freshness and this accounts for a clean and refreshing taste.                                                                                                                                      

We also take equal pride in the service we provide, and always actively seek customer feedback from all the farmers markets we attend by product’s tastings and feedback from our local suppliers. Selling direct to the public at Farmers' Markets and Food Festivals has enabled us to gain a real feel for what people want and allowed us to develop new and improve on existing products. We are keen to offer our customers the best service and value for money and we always welcome any comments that will help us achieve our goal.

We are delighted to have won the following awards: 'Best Sussex Food Producer' with the Sussex Food and Drinks Awards 2008/09 'Small Business of the Year' with the Observer Business Awards in February 2008, were Runner Up for ‘Best Sussex Food Producer 2007/08' with the Sussex Food and Drink Awards. Also, we have been awarded with 5 Gold Taste Awards: 3 at the 2008- and 2 at the 2007 Great Taste Awards, 'The British Food Oscars'.
